<you forgot to add a title!>
Yeah, I feel incredily lame because I have absolutely no title for this blog. It is simply a blog to go over the last two days, and that is all.
Friday was a great day, all around. Work was pretty slow, but I still got decent hours. We had the 4 cooks so everything went smoothly. Funny how being staffed makes things so much easier, however the guy closing at night must be absolutely clueless about everything. It's a shame. But, what can you do? I like these hours, I love the work, I love having a life again!
So, on to my life then, eh? I got home, took a shower, looked up directions, and headed off to Reese's. First I had to man up because 1) I had never been on the free-way before and 2) I had never driven that far away alone before. No problem, especially when it's a route you already know. It also helps when you're behind a big GRAVEL TRUCK! But I take back most of the things I've said about Ohio drivers; they were fairly nice to me on the highway and made the trip more pleasant. I'm now ready to travel across Ohio and around the wor... sta.. east coast/midwest!! So that's exciting

Let's see. I missed the exit and it took me 10 mins to get back to where I was supposed to be. I finally found the road and then had to drive around the labyrinth that is her housing complex to find the place. When I finally got there there were construction guys giving me strange looks and shaking their shovels menacingly at me... okkkkay so maybe I made that last part up, but props for the dramatic effort, right?
Reese has a really cool family. Her mom was really nice to me, her sister was absolutely hilarious (100 times better than my little sister, lol) and of course, her fiance is awesome. Did I mention that Chris sounds just like my uncle? Wild stuff. But anyways, we sat around watching the History Channel's Ancient Greece specials (just in time for that GOW3 demo, eh?
) and playing with their dogs. Then we went on to our crazy dream discussions and Reese's mom was so kind to include me in their delicious dinner plans (Thank you!!) before we all set off. I got a little lost on the way home but I eventually made it back in one piece. Note to self: next time, don't check directions - just follow!I headed over to Bob's and got some pecan pie and learned that Tim had been transferred to the Graceland Bob's on Thursday. Like, just like that. As he was leaving they told him to be there the next day. It sucks hardcore because I've lost one of my Jacket buddies. It sucked even more because I figured we were going to be short-handed for a while since Greg was only in his 4th or 5th week of training. Come to find out today that we got a transfer from the Gahanna store named John who is pretty cool. I cooked with him today and he was a funny dude. Good cook too, so we'll see how that goes. He's only been with the company about 5 months so he and Patti are about on the same level. That sucks because we need experienced managers at night to fix the ship. Buttttttttt.... whatever.
After work today I watched the Buckeyes throttle Penn State (HOOYEAH!), GT win a thriller in OT against Wake, and Alabama knock off LSU. If Ohio State wins next week, we have a clear shot at going to the Rose Bowl. And this year there won't be any flukes that keep us out of it (like say, the 6 teams ahead of us losing in their final 2 games to vault us into the Championship?). The only real question is, who would we play? Despite losing to Stanford, if Oregon defeats Arizona they will win the Pac-10. That would make for an interesting Rose Bowl!!
Also - I learned something this week. I was born with a female twin. Yep. She's pretty cool too. Naturally

Have a good night! I'm off to the BC for Garblejunk and Co.
